Arsenal are going to need a replacement for Hector Bellerin this summer.

The Spaniard’s agent has already been pictured at the offices of Real Betis and Charles Watts of Goal.com revealed in May that ‘everybody is in agreement’ that an Arsenal departure makes sense.

The Gunners are linked with a number of potential replacements.

But now there’s a new name on Edu’s reported shortlist of Bellerin alternatives.

According to The Evening Standard, Arsenal are interested in signing Lille right-back Zeki Celik.

Celik, who’s valuaed at £13 million, has just won the Ligue 1 title with Lille but a number of Premier League clubs are keen on the 24-year-old.

The report adds that Bellerin – who earns £110,000 per week – is ‘expected to leave’ the Emirates Stadium.

Stiff competition

Arsenal won’t have European football of any description next season and therefore it could be difficult to lure him to North London.

Well, the red half anyway.

Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly keen on the defender, as well as Manchester United.

Arsenal are a very big club, of course, but top players want to play in the Champions League and therefore it might be plausible that the Red Devils have the greatest shot.
