Newcastle United and West Ham United will reportedly have to pay £30 million if they want to sign Ross Barkley from Chelsea, according to The Express & Star.
The report has claimed that Barkley, who spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Aston Villa from Chelsea, is valued at £30 million.
The Athletic has reported that Newcastle would be interested in signing Barkley, but only on loan from Chelsea.
The Telegraph claimed in April that West Ham could bring the former Everton star to the London Stadium on a loan deal.
West Ham manager David Moyes worked with the England international midfielder at Everton and reportedly remains a big fan.
Barkley has not had the best of times during his loan spell at Villa.

The 27-year-old attacking midfielder – described by former Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor as “an outstanding player” in February 2021 on Stadium Astro – made 18 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
The England international scored three goals and gave one assist in those games.
Barkley is a talented player, but the 27-year-old has not really been great during his time at Chelsea so Far.
Newcastle and West Ham may not be willing to pay £30 million for Barkley.
