How did Cameron Boyce die?

Cameron died from epilepsy. His death came as a shock to everyone. The actor had passed away in his sleep after suffering a seizure on 6 July 2019. Following his death, Cameron’s family confirmed that he had an “ongoing medical condition.”

Over the years, Cameron had managed to make a name for himself in the industry with the help of various Disney shows that he had appeared in. He had been one of the main cast members for Disney’s Descendants.

Descendants 3 was the last movie that Cameron appeared in. The actor had shot for his scenes before his death.

Sofia Carson and The Cameron Boyce Foundation collaboration explored

Cameron and Sofia had always been close friends. On Cameron’s birthday, Sofia revealed she was collaborating with The Cameron Boyce Foundation.

She wrote on her Instagram: “Dear Cam, you changed my world. Forever. Today, on your birthday, the whole entire world celebrates you. The whole entire world smiles for you. In your honor, I am so grateful to share the #SofiaxTCBF.”

Talking about the collaboration, she said: “When I think of Cam, I think of him in his favorite jean jacket. It was quite simply, him. And so, our collection was born with a jean jacket that on your heart, says “we can change the world”, and on your back, a piece of art that was drawn by our Cam. We sang those words together. Cam drew this tree.”
