Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers both are on the hunt for new managers, and both have been linked with Paulo Fonseca.
Wolves are looking for a manager to replace Nuno, who parted company with the Wanderers last weekend.
Tottenham have been on the hunt for a permanent successor to Jose Mourinho since last month.
The Mirror reported just days ago that Wolves are looking at the 48-year-old Portuguese coach, who has now left AS Roma.
According to Alfredopedulla.com, Sassuolo are also interested in Fonseca.
The Serie A club reportedly like the Portuguese for his ‘tactical balance and offensive play’, according to the report, which has added that he wants to work in Italy and has offers from abroad.
The 48-year-old reportedly wishing to stay in Italy does provide an obstacle for Wolves and Tottenham.
However, if Fonseca does not get a better offer than Sassuolo, then he could well change his stance about not working outside of Italy.
Wolves and Tottenham are big and ambitious clubs who plan to play in Europe on a regular basis, and that would be very appealing for a relatively young manager such as Fonseca.
