What does the winner of The Voice get?

  • To begin with, The Voice winner gets a $100,000 cash prize.

While most winners would be happy with the impressive prize money itself, in addition to it they also get a recording contract with Universal Music Group.

Hence this could just be Cam’s break through opportunity in the music industry.

In the Top 17 round, Blake told Cam, “I’ve never had more people ask me about an artist on my team in 20 seasons of doing this show, man. You could be the first superstar that we launch off this show.”

In the previous seasons of the show Big Machine Label Group which was the first to sign Taylor Swift has also given out record deals to The Voice winners.

Many seasoned fans might know that over the years the $100,000 cash prize has been a constant.

However, over the years the record label deal hasn’t necessarily proved to be a springboard to fame and lucrative opportunities. However Cam’s mentor Blake believes that he could be one of the first The Voice winners to make it big in the music business.
