Arsenal fans got excited this past weekend after seeing the way in which Nicolas Pepe and Yves Bissouma interacted following a 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.

That’s because the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder is heavily linked with a £30 million move to North London.

Earlier this year, Football London reported that Bissouma had his heart set on a switch to Arsenal.

And the way in which the 24-year-old and Pepe – who share an agent – looked chummy after the game has certainly strengthened suggestions that a move may be on the cards.

And some Arsenal fans on Twitter believe they have spotted another sign.

Bissouma uploaded an Instagram photo of his personal trainer on Tuesday afternoon and there was some club merchandise spotted in the background.

Here’s how some Gunners supporters reacted to the photo on Twitter:

Arsenal won’t have it easy signing Bissouma.

That’s because Manchester City and Liverpool are also rumoured to be keen on the Seagulls star, who was arguably Albion’s best player during the 2020-21 campaign.

He certainly impressed against his potential future employers on Sunday too and it’ll be interesting to see whether the Arsenal-themed bag in the photo is coincidence or not.
