Master of None is everyone’s favourite comedy-drama, the critically acclaimed series is entering the third season, and fans of the show are desperate to know the filming location.
The series created by Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang have titled the next series ‘Master of None Presents: Moments in Love’. The storyline follows Denise and her wife Alicia as they struggle with the changing world surrounding them and it’s impact on their relationship.

Where is Master of None season 3 filmed?

The third season is set in London and Upstate New York at Denise and Alicia’s house. The filming locations are therefore filled with hustle and bustle and are very aesthetically pleasing. The scenes were filmed using a combination of locations and sets including some scenes filmed outdoors in different areas of London. Denise and Alicia’s house is filled with art decor and this is reflected in the London scenes as the city is known for its artistic culture.
Filming started in early 2020. However, this was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic so resumed in 2021 after restrictions eased. In this time the series has won a Golden Globe and two Emmys, Lena Waithe who plays Denise became the first Black woman to win an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series. Therefore, avid watchers are even more excited to discover what goes on in Season 3!
Netflix filming location revealed!
The majority of filming took place in London’s ExCeL, and some behind the scenes snaps shared to Instagram by production designer Amy Williams, showed the set being created for season three.
Master of None is known for having some exciting shooting locations, for season two, some stand out filming sites include Italy’s Pienza, Bergamo and Puglia, along with some shots along the Amalfi Coast.
Season one of Master of None mostly took place in New York City. Many New Yorkers spotted their favourite restaurants in the series which include Il Buco, Carbone, Slick Willie and the Smorgasburg street food market in Williamsburg.
