BTS had been nominated in four categories and the band has managed to win them all! BTS won for best duo/ group, social artist, song sales artist, and their song Dynamite won the award for the top-selling song.

Fans have already started to celebrate the news on Twitter with many congratulating the band. BTS had released their song Dynamite in August 2020. As soon as the song dropped, it managed to break several records.

In fact, the song also broke multiple Guinness World Records. The song managed to become the most-viewed YouTube video in 24 hours, the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours, and the most-viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a K-pop group.

Keeping this in mind, it does not come as a surprise that the band won in all the categories.

BTS’ Butter breaks several records

Just like Dynamite, BTS’ Butter has already broken many records. Their Butter music video had gained over 113 million views within the first 24 hours. Meanwhile, Dynamite had gained 101.1 million.

The success of the song could also be measured by noting that the song managed to get on No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart within two hours of its release. The band had got their fans even more excited when they had confirmed that they would be performing the song at the Billboard Music Awards.

Ahead of the award, the band had admitted they were overjoyed to be nominated for four categories. Suga said: “The Billboard Awards are of course a very significant, important, and meaningful stage for us.”

Meanwhile, Jungkook added: “The fact that we were nominated in four categories is not easy, of course. It’s a great honor. It’s been a year since ‘Dynamite’ was released, and I think this shows that the song is still being loved by a lot of people, and that makes us really happy.”
