Sergio Conceicao has already said his goodbyes to the FC Porto squad with the Wolverhampton Wanderers target on the verge of leaving the Portuguese giants, as reported by Mehr News.
The 46-year-old’s final season at the Estadio do Dragao may have come and gone without a major trophy but, despite losing their Primeira Liga crown to rivals Sporting Lisbon, Conceicao will certainly be missed.
The former Portugal international dragged Porto back to the summit of Iberian football when he took over in 2017, ending Benfica’s domestic dominance with successive league titles.
He also won three cups, two Primeira Liga coach of the year awards and, perhaps most famously, that thrilling Champions League triumph over Juventus in the spring.
Conceicao’s contract is due to expire in July and the feeling is he’s taken charge of his final game in charge of the Dragons.

Mehr News has spoken to the father of Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, scorer of 23 goals in 2020/21.
Taremi Sr claims to have been told Conceicao has bid farewell to the squad, informing his players and staff of his intention to walk away following Wednesday’s final-day victory over Belenenses SAD.
The Athletic claims Conceicao, who established himself as one of Europe’s best up-and-coming coaches when saving Nantes from relegation, has admirers at Molineux. Wolves are expected to prioritise another Portuguese tactician to take Nuno Espirito Santo’s place in the dugout.
Conceicao has also been linked with the Napoli job following Gennaro Gattuso’s departure, while ex-Aston Villa target Bruno Lage is another option for Wolves.
