Arsenal finished the season in style as they beat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners grabbed a second-half lead as Nicolas Pepe fired past Robert Sanchez with a right-footed strike, before he added a second on his left foot.
That’s five goals in his last three games of the season for Pepe, who seems to be clicking into gear under Mikel Arteta – and he could yet have a close friend join him.
Football.London reported earlier this month that Arsenal fancy signing Brighton’s Yves Bissouma, who talks regularly with Pepe having played together at Lille.
Sunday’s game may have been all about Pepe, but Bissouma may have been having something of an audition in front of Arsenal eyes.
Bissouma racked up three tackles, two interceptions, two clearances and a blocked shot in a strong display, even if he wasn’t quite as prominent at taking on players on Sunday.

The Malian ace could be an Arsenal player next season, and Gunners fans have been taking to Twitter to react to his performance at the Emirates.
Some believe that Bissouma is ‘badly needed’ at Arsenal, suggesting that he is ‘excellent’ and a ‘baller’.
Others simply said ‘wow’ about Bissouma and begged Arsenal to sign him, believing they shouldn’t have let him leave the Emirates without him penning a deal to join.
