According to the Daily Mail, Daniel Levy has been left seething after Harry Kane spoke to Gary Neville about his desire to leave Tottenham.
Just a day after the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa, a trailer for the one-hour interview emerged, with the timing said to have irritated Levy.
Then, after hearing everything Kane told Neville while playing a round of golf on The Overlap, Levy was furious.
The Tottenham chief feels that the 27-year-old has disrespected Spurs by going public with his intentions, just days after Sky Sports revealed he wanted to leave.
Interestingly, the Daily Mail state that Tottenham were hoping to continue discussions with Kane about the topic in private.
It is also said that Spurs are still intending to keep the England international, and only an offer over £150 million would test that resolve.
Obviously, Levy wasn’t going to be happy with Kane’s interview.

By going public with his desires, Tottenham’s status has taken a bit of a battering.
For example, let’s just say Tottenham try to sign some players this summer.
What will those players be thinking about Spurs, and the ambition of the club, after seeing Kane speak so strongly about wanting to leave?
Furthermore, those already at the club will probably be thinking about what comes next, with the talisman keen to depart.

The Sun have already claimed that Heung-min Son feels upset and concerned about the prospect of losing his partner in crime.
Presumably, many more at Hotspur Way feel the same.
With Kane wanting out, and a replacement for José Mourinho still yet to be found, this is arguably the biggest summer Levy has faced yet.
