Gary Neville has said on The Overlap that he has noticed that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane does not lack confidence.
In an extensive interview with Tottenham striker Kane, former Manchester United defender Neville told the England international that he has noticed that he never loses confidence.
Neville told Kane on The Overlap: “I worked with you for three or four years. I looked at you, and every time I speak about you on television, I always think I never feel like you lose confidence.
“I always look at you and think you are going to miss a chance, it ain’t bother you that much. If you score, you don’t get carried away that much.”
You know what? Neville is actually right.
Kane actually never seems fazed if he misses chances. The 27-year-old does not celebrate too much if he scores a brilliant goal.
The 27-year-old seems to just get on with his job.
If you think about it, it is really remarkable.
Confidence is a big thing for footballers, especially strikers. A striker low on confidence can go through matches without scoring.
Kane does not have such an issue. The Tottenham star is a regular and proven goalscorer, and bangs in the goals regularly.

The Englishman has scored 22 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League this season.
No wonder that Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea all reportedly want him.
Sky Sports have claimed that City, United and Chelsea all want to secure the services of Kane.
The striker is reported to have told Tottenham that he wants to leave this summer.
If Spurs chairman Daniel Levy does decide to let him leave at a reasonable price, then Kane will have a lot of clubs to choose from.
