Phil Foden has labelled Liverpool linked Kylian Mbappe as a ‘special talent’ in an interview with Sky Sports.
Foden took on Neymar and Mbappe with City in the Champions League this season and helped Pep Guardiola’s side knock out their PSG side.
However, Foden admits that Mbappe, who is said to want a Liverpool move, and Neymar are very hard to deal with though.
“Sometimes it’s very hard to even get near him [Neymar],” the Manchester City playmaker said.
“But I thought that we coped well in the second half [against PSG] to deal with him and Mbappe, who are two special talents.
“It was important to get the job done against them!”
It was the Transfer Window Podcast who first reported that Mbappe would be keen on a move to Liverpool.
Whether the Reds can fund a deal for the PSG forward remains to be seen, but it looks doubtful.

If Liverpool are to have any chance of landing Mbappe they will surely have to qualify for the Champions League, which will be decided on Sunday.
If Jurgen Klopp’s side can beat Crystal Palace they will almost be guaranteed elite level European football again next term.
Liverpool may require a special talent of Mbappe’s quality to get themselves back challenging for the title with Foden’s City again.
Guardiola’s side have left them behind this season – which has owed partly to Liverpool’s injury issues.
And if City do sign Harry Kane this summer, which seems increasingly likely, then Liverpool may have to respond in kind by signing a superstar of their own.
