Andros Townsend has said on The ITV Football Football Show that Daniel Levy will not let Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane leave until late in the summer transfer window.
The Crystal Palace winger believes that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy could leave it until the deadline day, as he will want to get as much money as possible.
Sky Sports have reported that Kane wants to leave Spurs this summer and hopes to have his future sorted before the start of the European Championship.
Former Tottenham winger Townsend does not think that Kane will get his wish to have his future resolved before the start of the European Championship.
Townsend said about Bale on The ITV Football Football Show: “Wanting to leave and actually leaving are two completely different things. I definitely think nothing will get sorted before the Euros.
“It’s something that will get dragged out all summer and probably on deadline day Daniel Levy trying to pinch as much money as possible out of the buying club. Yes, it is going to be a saga that’s going to go on all summer.”
Kane may want to leave Spurs, but the North London club hold all the cards.
Although the striker has a good relationship with Levy, the Spurs chairman could just decide not to sell him unless he gets £150 million.

However, it is unlikely that Tottenham will leave it as late as deadline day.
After all, Tottenham will need a suitable replacement for Kane, and there will not be too many quality players available on deadline day.
Kane is arguably the most important player at Tottenham, and his departure could see Spurs go for a rebuild.
Levy simply cannot leave it late.
