Reported Tottenham Hotspur managerial target Nuno has decided to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves have announced on their official website this afternoon that Nuno will leave the club at the end of the season.
The Wanderers’ match against Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend will be the Portuguese’s last in charge of the club.
Wolves have stated on their official website that the decision has been made “by mutual agreement”.
The announcement does come as a shock, and the decision also comes amid speculation linking the 47-year-old with Tottenham.
The Express reported in April that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is looking at Nuno as a possible permanent successor to Jose Mourinho.
However, the Portuguese subsequently ruled out leaving Wolves, as quoted in The Sun.

But Nuno will now become available, and perhaps he will of interest to Spurs.
Nuno has been in charge of Wolves for four years.
The 47-year-old guided the Wanderers to promotion from the Championship and then led the team to the Europa League.
The Portuguese plays good football, and the work he did at Wolves means that Spurs should seriously consider him.
Tottenham need a manager who can get the best out of the players they have and is also able to work with what he is given in terms budget.
Nuno does fit the bill, especially as he will not cost anything in compensation fee.
