According to Sky Germany and Calciomercato, Leeds United are interested in signing Hertha Berlin attacker Matheus Cunha.
It’s claimed that Atalanta, Monaco and Napoli have all joined Leeds in the race for Cunha, who could move on this summer.
Hertha have set their price tag at around €30million (£26million), and may look to keep hold of Marseille attacker Nemanja Radonjic for longer as a result of Cunha moving on.
Cunha’s versatility to play up front, as a number 10 or out wide is very appealing, especially to Marcelo Bielsa, who values that kind of adaptability.
Cunha, 21, impressed this season with eight goals and eight assists in all competitions, having arrived from RB Leipzig in January 2020.
The Brazilian previously excelled with Sion in Switzerland, and Leipzig saw potential in him, but decided to move on last year.

Julian Nagelsmann even called Cunha a ‘huge talent’ in 2020, suggesting that he has ‘so much skill’ in his game.
That sounds great for Leeds, but it would take a hefty investment to land him and pair him up with felow Brazilian Raphinha in a potentially devastating duo.
