Substitute Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added a third, smashing in a left-footed strike after some superb close control.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has endured a difficult season on the injury front, leaving some to wonder whether he will be moved on this summer.

However, Jurgen Klopp decided to use him as a false nine when bringing him on against Burnley, seemingly attempting a little tactical experiment.

Oxlade-Chamberlain responded with a superb goal, and fans have been taking to Twitter to react to his performance in that advanced central role.

Some fans believe that this could actually be Oxlade-Chamberlain’s best role, claiming Liverpool should play him there more.

Others think that if Ilkay Gundogan can play that role for Manchester City,, then Oxlade-Chamberlain absolutely can having brought ‘energy’ to Liverpool’s attack last night…
