Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after Alfredo Morelos was named in Colombia’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Morelos has been named alongside James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado in Reinaldo Rueda’s squad, as Colombia look to qualify for Qatar 2022.
After such a fantastic season, this is exactly what the Rangers No.20 deserves.
In 44 appearances, Morelos scored 17 goals and also provided an impressive 13 assists as Rangers won the Scottish Premiership.
To amass 30 goal involvements in just 44 appearances takes some doing – the South American should give himself a huge pat on the back.
In other international news concerning Rangers, Glen Kamara was named in Finland’s squad for EURO 2020.

Kamara will be facing some of Europe’s finest players when Finland take on Belgium and Denmark in the Group Stage, such as Kevin De Bruyne.
Elsewhere, Jon McLaughlin and Nathan Patterson were named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad.
According to his Transfermarkt page, Patterson has never been capped before, so this is an extremely exciting moment for the 19-year-old.

The same could be said about McLaughlin, who himself only has two caps for Scotland.
For now, let’s see how the Rangers fans on Twitter reacted to the club’s tweet about Morelos…
