According to Juve Live, Rodrigo de Paul has ‘reached the end credits’ of his time with Udinese amid interest from Leeds.

The Italian news outlet discuss the Yorkshire-based outfit’s interest in the Argentine from last year.

It is said that Leeds offered €28 million (£24 million) for the 26-year-old, but it was swiftly rejected by Pierpaolo Marino – Udinese’s Technical Director.

You’re probably tired of reading about De Paul at this stage – it’s one of the longest running sagas in the market at the moment.

It is also important not to regurgitate news, as the Italian media seems to be producing plenty of articles about the playmaker.

However, what seems to be fresh – and interesting – information is that Udinese are not budging on their €40 million (£34.5 million) asking price.

It is described as take it or leave it in Juve Live‘s article.

Juve Live add comments from Marino, in which he reveals that he doesn’t want to talk about De Paul until the season is over – he did concede that ‘many’ clubs want him, however.

Marino said: “I don’t want to talk about De Paul. At the end of the season I will reveal what I think. many are looking for him, but I will not answer on this subject until the end of the season.”

It’s understandable that ‘many’ clubs want the South American.

After all, AC Milan legend Massimo Ambrosini said De Paul ‘provides so much quality‘ when revealing that he thinks the midfielder could play for Juventus or Inter Milan.

As things stand, Marcelo Bielsa’s side remain interested in signing Udinese’s No.10 and captain, while Liverpool are also keen.

Of all teams to provide competition to Leeds, Bielsa and Victor Orta surely would’ve preferred it to be someone other than Liverpool.

Jürgen Klopp is one of the most popular coaches around, while Liverpool are one of England’s biggest clubs.

However, the same can be said of Bielsa and Leeds, so it will be interesting to see where De Paul ends up this summer – if he leaves at all.
