According to The Athletic, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would prefer to sell Jesse Lingard, amid speculation regarding Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Solskjaer reportedly wants to cash in on Lingard given his brilliant form at West Ham United, as the England international’s value has increased.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
The Sun reported last month that Arsenal manager Arteta wants to sign the England international, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.
The Gunners are reportedly ready to pay the Englishman’s £110,000-a-week salary.
Lingard is enjoying a brilliant loan spell at West Ham.
The attacker has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 14 Premier League games for the Hammers.
The 28-year-old could even be part of the England squad for the European Championship this summer.
Lingard is a versatile attacking player who can play out wide, in a number 10 role, and even upfront.

Martin Odegaard is only on loan from Real Madrid, and if the Norway international attacking midfielder does not return to the Emirates Stadium next season, then Lingard would be a good replacement.
The United-owned attacker is back in form, and he is showing at West Ham what he can do if he is given an extended run in the team.
Former West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola praised Lingard on Sky Sports last month, and as said, as covered by HITC Sport: “It’s a pleasure to watch him play like this, honestly. He has been a player that has changed a lot.
“The size of West Ham, he is giving them everything they need. He’s providing assists for the players. He’s participating in play.
“He has been a total player. I am very happy for him because he’s also an asset for the national team and it’s good for West Ham to have him.”
