Jamie O’Hara has said on Sky Sports News (8:28pm, May 17, 2021) that Son Heung-min could join Harry Kane in leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Sky Sports have reported this evening that Kane has told Tottenham again that he wants to leave the North London club this summer.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are reported to be interested in the 27-year-old striker.

Former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara has said that if Kane leaves, then South Korea international forward Son would want to go as well.

O’Hara said on Sky Sports News (8:28pm, May 17, 2021): “If you get rid of your best players, I don’t think Son is going to want to stay, you know. Why would he want to stay? Him and Harry Kane almost come as a pair this season.”

Meanwhile, former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has given his take on speculation regarding Kane on Twitter.

First of all, we must point out that Kane has not publicly come out and said that he wants to leave.

However, given that the Kane story is being reported Sky Sports and The Telegraph among other media outlets, it does seem that the striker wants to leave.

It will be a bitter disappointment for Tottenham fans if Kane does leave.

However, Spurs fans should rest assured that club chairman Daniel Levy is not going to make it easy and will get as much as he can for the striker.

It is hard to see Levy sell Kane for anything less than £100 million this summer.

While O’Hara may be worried about Son potentially leaving if Kane goes, Levy is unlikely to sell two of the best players in the same transfer window.
