Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was announced that Jesse Lingard had won the Premier League Player of the Month award.

It’s safe to say they’re not happy with the decision.

Some Leeds fans feel that Stuart Dallas has been ‘robbed’ by the Premier League, after he enjoyed an excellent month in April.

The 30-year-old scored both goals as Leeds shocked Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men somehow left Manchester with all three points, despite playing more than half the game with ten men.

Dallas also helped Leeds record admirable draws against Manchester United and Liverpool.

Additionally, the Northern Ireland international helped Leeds record a 2-1 win over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.

In fairness to Lingard, he did deserve the award, even though Dallas enjoyed an exceptional month in April.

The 28-year-old scored four goals in four games for West Ham, while also recording one assist.
