Spiral: From the Book of Saw has arrived on our screens but just what songs and music appear in the film’s soundtrack and who composed its score?
No film or TV series can be complete without music and the same can be said for Spiral, the newest instalment in the Saw franchise.
The movie arrived on screens in the US on May 14th and features plenty of songs and eery music to give the film its horror vibes.
But just what songs appear in Spiral’s chilling soundtrack and score?
Spirl: From the Book of Saw
Spiral: From the Book of Saw arrives on our screens in May 2021 and, thanks to a certain pandemic, is the first Saw movie not to release in October ahead of Halloween.
The film tells the story of a brash detective named Ezekial “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner William Schenk (Max Minghella) as they take charge of a grisly murder investigation.
Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), the two are faced with a series of murders that are eerily reminiscent of gruesome crimes committed years before.
Spiral features a number of songs in its soundtrack to help instil fear and dread into the audience, including:
As well as the film’s soundtrack, Spiral also makes use of a chilling score composed by Charlie Clouser.
Aged 57, the New Hampshire born composer and musician has scored every movie in the Saw franchise to date and that continues in Spiral.
The official score, which is set to feature 26 blood-curdling tracks, is due to release on May 21st and is already available to pre-order on Amazon and will also be making its way onto the likes of Apple Music and Spotify.
Spiral is out now in US theaters after releasing on May 14th, 2021.
