Robbie Fowler has said on The Redmen TV that there is nothing to worry about the incident between Sadio Mane and Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s win against Manchester United last night.
Liverpool eased past United 4-2 away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League last night to maintain their chances of finishing in the top four.
Sadio Mane did not start the match. The Senegal international forward was dropped in favour of Diogo Jota, who played well and also scored.
Mane came on as a substitute in the second half, and the former Southampton star snubbed Liverpool manager Klopp when the latter went to shake hands with him.
Former Liverpool star Fowler has played down the incident, saying that Mane not being happy shows that he wants to play.
Fowler said on The Redmen TV: “It shows that he wants to play. I know that he has had a tough time in terms of performances lately. He has been fantastic for years.”

Mane is not having the best of seasons, and one can understand why Liverpool manager Klopp played Jota ahead of him.
While it must be said that Mane should have been more respectful towards his manager in front of cameras and should have controlled his emotions better, it does show that the Senegal international forward wants to play.
Mane has scored nine goals and provided five assists in the Premier League, and scored three goals and gave one assist in the Champions League for Liverpool this season.
