Lille manager Christophe Galtier is about to quit his current job after links with Tottenham Hotspur, ESPN report.

The London Evening Standard have said that Galtier is an option for Tottenham, as they search for Jose Mourinho’s replacement.

And if that is the case then ESPN’s latest update looks very interesting for Spurs fans.

Galtier is apparently set to quit on Lille at the end of the season as he wants to come to the Premier League.

If he does walk away from the French club then he could be an even more appealing prospect, as Tottenham would be able to land him without compensation.

The 54-year-old certainly could be leaving Lille at a time when his stock his highest.

Galtier has led his side to the verge of the French league title, with PSG failing to keep pace with them this term.

Given the difference in budgets, Galtier has done a remarkable job, but he could still be a risky appointment for Spurs.

The former former Marseille player has never managed outside of France before, it it would be unclear how well his methods would work at Tottenham.
