Mark Noble has raved about Marko Arnautovic on the Peter Crouch podcast, amid claims David Moyes wants him back at West Ham United.
Tutto Bologna Web say that West Ham want to sign the forward, in what would be an eye-catching comeback.
Arnautovic left West Ham to join Shanghai Port back in 2019.
And it seems that Noble would welcome the Austrian back with open arms, if the move was to go ahead, judging by his latest comments.
“Everyone was worried about him when he came because of that perception [as a troublemaker] but he’s a funny, funny guy,” Noble said.
“And what a player. Some days in training when he turned it on, I’d think ‘oh my God’. You couldn’t get close to the fella.
“He was so quick and powerful. But so loud and funny with it as well a lot of the time. I was really sad to see him go actually.”

Arnautovic proved his class on the pitch during his first spell with West Ham, but he was criticised for the way he engineered an exit by some supporters.
If he was to come back it would be a rather surprising move, but there is some sense to it.
West Ham are short of options up-front currently, and as a short-term solution, Arnautovic may be able to fulfil a role in Moyes’ side.
