Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said on Sky Sports Premier League (10;40pm, May 13, 2021) that there is no problem between him and Sadio Mane.
The Reds got the better of Manchester United 4-2 away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League this evening.
Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino started the game, and so did Diogo Jota in a front-three.
Mane came on as a substitute. After the win, when Klopp went to shake hands with the Senegal international forward, he did not reach accept it and made it clear with his actions that he was not happy.
Klopp has played down the incident and has explained why Mane refused to shake hands with him.
The Liverpool boss said on Sky Sports Premier League (10;40pm, May 13, 2021): “No, there’s no problem. I made a late decision yesterday in training to go for Diogo. The boys are used to that. I usually explain things but there was no time. It’s all fine.”
Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane was following the match for Sky Sports, and he has criticised Mane but has also took a dig at Klopp.
Keane said on Sky Sports Premier League (10;40pm, May 13, 2021): “I think the player obviously is out of order, but not every player wants a…
“There’s a new trend amongst managers, everybody going on the pitch, everybody giving everybody high-fives. I know when I was a player, I did not want the manager to come on and give me high-fives. If we won the league, maybe. If he sees the player upset, just back away.”

One can understand Mane’s frustrations at not starting, but the former Southampton star should not have been so public with his emotions.
It was a win for Liverpool, and Mane should have shaken Klopp’s hands.
After all, it was in front of cameras.
Mane could have discussed his snub against United with Klopp after the game away from the cameras.
