Liverpool are in Premier League action tonight but fans are currently buzzing about some of the club’s top young talents.

On Wednesday evening, Liverpool’s Under-18’s were in FA Youth Cup action as they travelled to take on Ipswich Town.

Edwin Agbaje gave Ipswich an unlikely lead, before Polish talent Mateusz Musialowski continued his rise with another goal.

It was substitute Melkamu Frauendorf who won it though, as he found the net having made a great driving run into the box.

That was enough to win the game for Liverpool, clinching a 2-1 win and a path into the FA Youth Cup final.

Frauendorf could have had another as he had a left-footed shot saved, but he did enough as a substitute to send Liverpool through – and earn praise from fans.

The 17-year-old joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim last summer, and has hit five goals and two assists in 19 games at Under-18 Premier League level.

A number or left-sided winger, the Ethiopia-born German youth international looks to have a future future ahead of him, with Liverpool supporters excited.

Fans took to Twitter to rave about Frauendorf, suggesting that he had an immense impact and looks really promising.

Others feel that Liverpool have ‘robbed’ Hoffenheim, and believe he will really kick on next season…
