Resident Evil Village is one of the best games of the year so far and it is also the fastest-selling game in the series. Much of its hype was thanks to the series’ name as well as because of the hypnotising Lady Dimitrescu whose castle you get to explore. Here you’ll discover how to quickly complete the five bells puzzle in Resident Evil Village so you can obtain one of the four angel masks to escape Lady Dimitrescu’s castle once and for all.

Lady Dimitrescu was arguably the most exciting aspect building up to the game’s release, and her PS5 version is undeniably far prettier than her scary PS1 demake. While the tall vampiress is a fan-favourite for many obvious reasons, the good news is that the game is full of great characters and remains excellent once you leave her castle and her thirst trap daughters.

In order to help you escape the castle in your pursuit of finding Rose, below you’ll discover how to quickly the complete the five bells puzzle in Resident Evil Village.

How to complete five bells puzzle in Resident Evil Village

The five bells puzzle in Resident Evil Village is easy to complete.

All you need to do to complete the puzzle is find and shoot each of the five bells in the chamber of Lady Dimitrescu’s castle in Resident Evil Village.

You will find a note on a painting in the centre of the room which basically tells you to do the above.

The first bell is easy to find as it’s on a small table next to a headless black statue. Players will then find the puzzle’s second bell swinging behind the holes in the wall and all you need to do is shoot it.

There is a tiny one found atop the cabinet beside Lady Dimitrescu’s flattering portrait, and the fourth one can be found on the chandelier. Simply shoot the chandelier to get it swinging and then shoot the bell.

Capcom’s final key to the puzzle is a bit of a cheat as it’s not inside the chamber.

Still, to complete the five bells puzzle, climb the stairs, shoot the window that light is shining through, and then you’ll be able to shoot the bell tower.

This is the hardest one to find without looking for a guide as it is a wicked cheat on Capcom’s part.
