Arsenal have made Bernd Leno available for transfer now, according to Football London.
Mikel Arteta heavily backed Leno last season, preferring him over Emiliano Martinez, who had come in at Arsenal and performed so strongly.
But just a year later, the Gunners have now put Leno up for sale according to the latest reports.
Leno has generally continued to be solid for Arsenal this term, but the German has had a few shaky moments.
His error against Everton was a particular low point in the season for the 29-year-old, who has previously been described as ‘outstanding’ by Kieran Tierney (Sky Sports).
With Arsenal looking to to raise funds it seems that Leno could be axed this summer.

Given his age, Leno’s value is only likely to drop from here, so the decision may be smart in a financial sense.
However, whether Arsenal will be able to land an upgrade remains to be seen.
Leno is clearly a very competent goalkeeper and finding a better goalkeeper than him could be difficult, without European football on offer.
