Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to The Athletic’s report that Patrick Bamford signed an extension to his contract last summer.

The Athletic reported yesterday that Bamford signed a one-year contract extension last summer. This means that the 27-year-old is actually tied to Leeds until June 2023.

The report added that Liverpool are among several clubs who admire the English striker, who cost Leeds £7 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018, as reported by Sky Sports.

Meanwhile, Zulte Waregem striker and former Club Brugge star Jelle Vossen has raved about Noa Lang.

According to Gva.be and The Telegraph, Leeds want to sign the 21-year-old Dutch winger this summer.

Voetbalbelgie.be quotes Vossen as saying, as translated by InsideFutbol: “At the moment Noa Lang is the best player in our league without a doubt He is someone who is always a threat Lang seeks to go one-on-one and therefore always creates danger.

“It is very difficult to defend against him because he is constantly thinking ahead. He links that to a lot of goals and assists – his numbers are phenomenal. It will not be easy for Club to keep him next season.“
