Some Liverpool fans on social media are far from happy after seeing Manchester United have decided to play a weakened line-up against Leicester City.

The Red Devils are set to play two games in three days, and with their place in the top four secured, they’ve decided to rotate heavily against Leicester.

Indeed, they’ve handed out two Premier League debuts and fielded a weakened side against the Foxes, and as you can imagine Liverpool fans aren’t best pleased.

Not only does this give their star players extra rest before their clash on Thursday, but a win for Leicester at Old Trafford would put a serious dent in Liverpool’s top four hopes.

To be fair to United, their game against Liverpool is a bigger match and they have a Europa League final to prepare for, so resting players in what is by-and-large a dead rubber fixture actually makes a lot of sense.

Regardless, Liverpool fans aren’t happy with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team selection, and they’ve made their feelings known on social media…
