Francesco Graziani has said that Antonio Conte could join Tottenham Hotspur, as quoted in Calciomercato.

A report in Corriere dello Sport last week week claimed that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to appoint former Chelsea boss Conte as their new manager.

It was reported that Spurs have already met with the 51-year-old Italian about succeeding Jose Mourinho and have even discussed how to improve the current squad, as covered by HITC Sport.

Former Italy international forward Graziani has said that Conte could leave Inter for Spurs if the recently-crowned Italian champions are not able to show that they are ready for a successful future.

Calciomercato quotes Graziani as saying about Conte: “Anything can happen if the club do not regain financial stability and the possibility of planning a certain future.

“It’s clear that if Conte appeals to Tottenham with important goals, he can also think about going. He wants to understand if from now on there are the conditions to continue to be competitive. He’s hungry and it seems right that he checks it out.”

Inter are facing financial problems despite just winning the Scudetto this season and reclaiming the title from fellow Italian giants Juventus.

Conte is an ambitious manager who won Serie A thrice with Juventus and the Premier League once with Chelsea.

True, Tottenham may not finish in the Premier League top four this season, but Spurs are a massive club who reached the Champions League final and were competing for the title not so long ago.

Conte would know just how ambitious Tottenham are from his time in the Premier League.

If Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is willing to invest in the squad and can convince Conte that the Italian would be given the tools to succeed, then the 51-year-old could well swap San Siro for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
