Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has praised Leeds United left-back Barry Douglas on Instagram.
Douglas is returning to Leeds from his loan spell at Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
The 31-year-old, who can also operate as a left wing-back, joined Rovers on loan from Leeds last summer.
The Championship season is finished now, and Douglas is returning to his parent club.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers star has taken to Instagram to bid a fond farewell to Rovers and has posted a really heartfelt message.
Arsenal striker Nketiah, who played with Douglas at Leeds during his loan spell at Elland Road during the first half of last season, has posted a three-word reply to his message, as shown below.
Douglas has been on the books of Leeds since 2018 and is out of contract at the West Yorkshire club at the end of June.
It is hard to see the Whites hand him a new deal. After all, Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa decided to send him out on loan last summer, with the club knowing that he was out of contract this summer.
