Liverpool picked up a big win on Saturday night as they beat Southampton 2-0 at Anfield.
The Reds grabbed a first-half lead through Sadio Mane before Thiago Alcantara wrapped up the win with a late goal.
This win could prove hugely important come the end of the season, as Liverpool have cut the gap to Leicester City to just three points.
That means the Reds have a real chance of sneaking back into the top four, with Leicester and West Ham United both faltering his past weekend.
This was a big game for Thiago, as the Spanish midfielder finally scored his first Liverpool goal with a fine curling finish.
The £27million summer signing from Bayern Munich has endured an up-and-down first season in English football, so finally opening his Liverpool account will no doubt feel great.

After the game, boss Jurgen Klopp offered his take on Thiago to The Independent, and felt that this was far from the first time that has has played ‘really well’ for Liverpool despite criticism from elsewhere.
Klopp praised his ‘top passes’, feeling that his all-round game was ‘really good’, which will leave fans hoping that he can really kick on next season.
“I am pleased for him. He played really well, not the first time but he looked really good, helped us with top passes. All really good,” said Klopp.
