Matthew Upson has said on BBC Radio 5 Live (8:17pm, May 9, 2021) that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka was “causing havoc” against West Bromwich Albion.
Saka started the match at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League this evening at left-back.
The 19-year-old has been playing mainly as a winger this season, but against the Baggies, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta decided to deploy him at left-back.
That did not stop the England international from making attacking forays, as time and time again, the talented and promising youngster created problems for West Brom right-back Darnell Furlong.
Former Arsenal central defender Upson was on co-commentary duty for the match on BBC Radio 5 Live, and on the hour mark following Saka creating a chance for Gabriel Martinelli, the BBC pundit noted that the youngster was creating havoc for the Baggies.
Upson said on BBC Radio 5 Live (8:17pm, May 9, 2021): “Where did that chance come from again? Saka down the left. He is causing havoc whenever he chooses.
“It is such a whipped cross into the box but both players running in are just half a yard off contact.”

Just minutes later Kieran Tierney came on as a substitute for Emile Smith Rowe and slotted in at left-back.
That saw Saka push further forward, and he continued to create problems for the Baggies.
The 19-year-old is having a wonderful season on a personal level and is one of the best players in manager Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal are not having a great season, but the Gunners have some wonderful young players.
Saka is a brilliant young player who will only get better in the coming years.
