Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion away from home in their last league game.

It was a very disappointing performance from Leeds, who will be determined to bounce back and pick up all three points against Tottenham at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Bielsa is likely to make a few changes. Ezgjan Alioski struggled at left-back against Brighton, and he could be replaced in that position by Stuart Dallas.

Dallas, described by former Arsenal star Paul Merson as “absolutely outstanding” on Sky Sports News (2:10pm, April 24, 2021), started at right wing against the Seagulls and is likely to go back at left-back against Spurs.

Injured duo Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha have started training, and while they both have to pass late fitness test, it is likely that Bielsa will draft the England international defensive midfielder back into the team.

It will be a big call from the Argentine, as it is not easy for any player to come straight into the team after injury, especially against a side as strong as Spurs, but there is not really a direct and suitable replacement for Phillips.

This is how Leeds are likely to line up against Tottenham on Saturday:

Predicted Leeds United XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Struijk, Dallas; Phillips; Poveda, Klich, Rodrigo, Harrison; Bamford
