Micky Hazard has ruthlessly mocked Arsenal on Twitter after Tottenham Hotspur’s bitter North London rivals were knocked out of the Europa League.

Arsenal have played out a goalless draw with Villarreal at the Emirates Stadium in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie this evening.

The Gunners lost the first leg of the tie 2-1 in Spain last week, meaning that the Premier League club have lost 2-1 on aggregate.

Former Tottenham star Hazard has mocked Arsenal for their failure to progress to the final, as shown below.

Spurs will take on Aston Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on May 19, and Hazard has jokingly asked when the game will be played.

Tottenham are not going to win a trophy this season, but Spurs did reach the final of the Carabao Cup.

Spurs are also doing much better in the Premier League this season and are still very much in the running for the Champions League places.

Arsenal’s season is virtually over. The Gunners would need a miracle to finish in the Champions League places, and they will now have to start preparing for next season.

Tonight’s defeat will be an even bigger blow for Arsenal, as it was their former manager Unai Emery who knocked them out and virtually ended their season.
