Patrick Bamford told the Saturday Social on Sky Sports that his Leeds United teammate, Rodrigo, has been unfortunate with the timing of his injuries this season.
The 30-year-old has been in the treatment room of late, including nursing a groin injury, but he returned to action over the weekend.
Rodrigo replaced Bamford himself during Leeds’ defeat to Brighton, with the Englishman hooked off after 60 minutes following his struggles in front of the goal.
But with Rodrigo back in action, Bamford thinks he will become a ‘very valuable’ player for the club.
“82 rating (on FIFA) is a good rating for a Spanish international,” said Bamford. “He’s had to adjust, as all new players do, to the way we play under Marcelo.
“He was getting into the swing of things then, unfortunately, he struggled with a slight injury.
“But he’s one of them players that would be very valuable to the team when he gets back playing regularly.”

It has been a bit of a problematic start to life in Yorkshire for Leeds’ summer signings, and not through their own wrongdoings.
Added with Rodrigo, Leeds’ new centre-back duo have also spent a fair time in the treatment room.
But the one man that has spent regular time out on the pitch has been Raphinha, who has become a firm fan favourite with his twists and turns even putting Premier League winners flat on their face.
