According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are interested in snapping up Derby County youngster Lee Buchanan this summer.
The Gunners are keen to sign another left back this summer, with Edu and Mikel Arteta seeking competition for Kieran Tierney.
Sead Kolasinac seemingly doesn’t have a future with Arteta, and it’s fair to say that Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka are better in other areas.
Adding another left back is a priority this summer, and it’s claimed that Buchanan is now a target for the Gunners at the end of the season.
Buchanan, 20, has come up through the Derby ranks having been born in nearby Mansfield, and has made 36 Championship appearances this term.
Buchanan is far from the finished product and would need to be developed behind Tierney, but a deal could be a little easier if Derby don’t stay in the Championship.

The youngster has been working under Wayne Rooney this season, with the former England hero suggesting that he is a ‘real top player’ and is already one of the best young left backs in the country.
That’s a strong backing for Buchanan, though some may feel that he needs another season in the Championship before making the jump to a Premier League giant like Arsenal.
Arsenal seemingly see huge potential in Buchanan though, and could now move for him at the end of the season as they search for Tierney’s deputy.
