Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Harry Wilson scoring a hat-trick for Cardiff City.

Wilson, on loan at Cardiff from Liverpool, scored a hat-trick in the Bluebirds’ 4-0 hammering of Birmingham City away from home in the Championship on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Liverpool-owned winger found the back of the net in the ninth, 40th and 86th minute.

The Wales international opened his tally in the game with a wonderful clipped effort off the outside of his left foot from long range.

Wilson scored his second goal of the match with a brilliant free kick and completed his hat-trick with another free kick.

The winger has failed to establish himself in the Liverpool first team yet, but the Wales international is having a wonderful season on loan at Cardiff in the Championship.

According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old has made 32 starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for the Welsh outfit this season, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists in the process.

Liverpool are not having the best of seasons and could miss out on the Premier League top four.

Manager Jurgen Klopp could decide to freshen up his squad, and perhaps the German will look at Wilson again in pre-season, although he will also have another winger – Harvey Elliott – back from his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers.

Some Liverpool fans have given their take on Twitter on Wilson’s heroics for Cardiff.
