According to The Sun, Barcelona maestro Philippe Coutinho will be joining Everton this summer in a deal worth £35 million.
The Toffees are already house hunting for the 62-cap Brazil international, such is their confidence that a deal will go through.
Carlo Ancelotti wants Coutinho at Goodison Park so he can form a deadly South American duo with James Rodriguez.
The 28-year-old has endured a miserable time in Spain following his £142 million move from Liverpool in January 2018.
He’s scored just three goals in 14 appearances this season, and was even loaned out to Bayern Munich last term.
However, there’s no questioning that Coutinho has talent, something that Gary Lineker is all too aware of.

The BBC Match of the Day host once called Barcelona’s No.14 a ‘marvellous’ player after he scored the only goal in an FA Cup win over Blackburn.
In our view, we can’t see Coutinho joining Everton – it would be shocking.
According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian decided against joining Manchester United in June 2019 out of respect for Liverpool, so there’s surely no chance he joins Everton.

Some fans already dislike him for the way in which he forced his Anfield exit.
If Coutinho then went on to join Everton, he’ll have surely burned his bridges at Liverpool for good.
