Gareth Southgate is open to taking charge of Tottenham Hotspur, according to The London Evening Standard.
It has been reported that Tottenham are looking at the England head coach as a potential candidate to replace Jose Mourinho as the full-time head coach.
The 50-year-old is in charge of England at the moment and will manage the Three Lions in the upcoming European Championship.
While Southgate is ‘flattered’ by interest from Spurs, the Englishman would consider the role only if he is sacked by England, according to the report, which has added that he would not walk away from the job he has at the Three Lions at the moment.
Gareth Southgate to Tottenham Hotspur?
Southgate has done a truly wonderful job at England, who did remarkably well at the 2018 World Cup finals.
The Englishman is very well liked by the players and the media, and he comes across as a considerate and thoughtful manager.

Southgate is relatively young at the age of 50, and his success with young players for England shows that he can improve budding young footballers.
However, the 50-year-old has had just one managerial role at club level. Southgate managed Middlesbrough from 2006 until 2009.
Having been out of club management for so long, it could be tricky for Southgate to hit the ground running at Spurs, especially if he is only able to take the job after the European Championship.
