According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Liverpool are showing an interest in signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
It’s claimed that Belotti is attracting major interest from around Europe, with Tottenham Hotspur one of the clubs in the race.
Lyon, Fiorentina, Roma, Napoli, Inter Milan and AC Milan are also thought to be keen on Belotti, with Liverpool and now Manchester United joining the race.
Belotti, 27, has been a prolific goalscorer for Torino since signing from Palermo in 2015, scoring 104 in 222 games.
The Italian is surely ready for a big move, as Torino have been battling against relegation this season and Belotti is too good to be at the wrong end of Serie A.
Would a move to Liverpool really make sense though?
The Reds may well be in the market for a striker this summer, as Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have disappointed this season, meaning Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah need help.

Belotti just doesn’t seem like a Liverpool signing though, in part because he turns 28 later this year.
Michael Edwards tends to like young signings with potential resale value, and whilst an exception was made for Thiago Alcantara last summer, Belotti isn’t quite of the quality to make another exception for this summer.
A fine goalscorer, but maybe not the one Liverpool need this summer as they look to tweak Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
