Spartak Moscow forward Jordan Larsson is flattered by reported interest from West Ham United and Borussia Dortmund heading into the summer transfer window, as he told Fotbolskalanen.
The son of Celtic and Barcelona legend Henrik, Larsson Jr certainly shares his father’s nose for a goal.
In 26 matches, the Sweden international has found the net 13 times in the Russian Premier League this season.
With Goal suggesting that Dortmund have identified Larsson as a potential successor for a certain Erling Haaland, it is hard to imagine a better compliment that can be paid to a young striker with potential by the bucket-load.
The report adds that David Moyes’ West Ham are also interested.
Larsson, a mobile centre-forward who learned his trade in Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, would certainly give the Hammers a more natural option through the middle, although Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio deserve so much credit for the way they adapted to an unfamiliar number nine role this season.
“It’s always fun to be mentioned among such big clubs,” Larsson said when asked about those West Ham and Dortmund links.

“But I do not want to talk so much about it. I hand it over to my agent, but it’s clear it’s flattering.
“We’ll see what (Spartak) want; If they want me to stay or if they want to sell me. We have not got there yet, but my ambition is to develop and play as high up as possible.
“If there is something good, that is attractive enough, you have to listen.”
Clearly, Larsson will consider every offer that comes his way this summer.
Securing a Champions League berth for the first time ever would undoubtedly give West Ham’s hopes of luring the young striker to the London Stadium an almighty shot in the arm.
Speaking earlier this year, Spartak president Leonid Fedun admitted that Barcelona were keen to take Larsson, who he values at a staggering £85 million, back to the Camp Nou (Sun).
