The Horchata Cult is taking over TikTok right now, but what is it? Here’s everything you need to know.
Every few months, a new ‘cult’ takes over TikTok. Don’t worry, the TikTok definition of ‘cult’ isn’t the same as the religious one, and there’s definitely nothing demonic going on here.
A cult is simply a mass of TikTok users who are all part of one group and share the same values.
First, there was the Step Chickens, then the Lana Cult and now, the Horchata Cult is blowing up on TikTok.
Here’s what it’s all about…
What is the Horchata Cult?
As you’ve been scrolling through TikTok this week, you’ve probably come across a lot of videos related to the Horchata Cult.
It was started on April 25th by a popular TikTok user called Horchata Soto who had the aim of taking over TikTok.
Essentially, the Horchata Cult is a group of TikTok users who all love tacos and Hispanic food that are grouping together to take over the app.
So, who is Horchata?
