According to the Daily Mail, RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann is asking contacts in the game about what it’s like to work under Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.
Tottenham sacked Jose Mourinho last week, and Nagelsmann has quickly become the favourite the job, allegedly emerging as Levy’s first choice.
It’s claimed that Nagelsmann is actually expected to become Bayern Munich boss, and that’s his preference over heading to Spurs.
Still, the German is doing his due diligence on Tottenham, allegedly speaking to contacts in the game about Tottenham and the experience of working under Levy.
Levy is known as being pretty difficult to work under, with his financial approach and brinkmanship often frustrating some Spurs fans.
He doesn’t allow Spurs to be pushed around though, and after working at two relative up-and-comers in Hoffenheim and Leipzig, Nagelsmann seemingly wants to know what it’s like to work for a traditionally bigger club in Spurs.

The 33-year-old is a hugely talented coach and has the potential to become one of the best in the world, so Spurs fans would surely be excited to see him make the move to North London.
The news of him taking the time to learn move about Tottenham is encouraging, but it’s Bayern who are the biggest worry for Spurs in the race for Nagelsmann.
