Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the latest on Harry Kane’s injury ahead of the match against Manchester City.
Tottenham will take on Premier League rivals City at Wembley Stadium in London in the Carabao Cup final today.
Kane suffered an ankle injury against Everton in the Premier League last week and missed the match against Southampton in midweek.
The Telegraph reported late last night (10:30pm, April 24, 2021) that Kane will be passed fit for the Carabao Cup final against Pep Guardiola’s City.
The report has claimed that although the 27-year-old missed training on Friday, Spurs are confident that the England international will be part of the squad due to the recovery he has made since he suffered the injury.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham interim-manager Ryan Mason includes Kane in the starting lineup or keeps him on the substitutes’ bench.
Even if the England international striker does not start, the option to bring him on in the second half would be welcomed by Mason.
