According to a report published in The Mirror at 5pm today, Liverpool owners, Fenway Sports Group, have turned down a bid of almost £3 billion for the club.
The offer was made from the Middle East before the defending Premier League champions got involved in the now-collapsed European Super League, according to the report.
Liverpool owner John W. Henry had to apologise this week for the club joining the European Super League.
Some Liverpool fans are not happy at what’s happening to the club, and FSG are not very popular at the moment.
On the pitch, Liverpool are struggling as well. The Reds’ chances of winning the Premier League title for the second successive season were long gone, and now there is a chance that they will not finish in the top four.

The Reds have also been knocked out of the Champions League this season.
