Allan Saint-Maximin has responded to a Liverpool fan on Twitter when asked to leave Newcastle United for the Reds.
Saint-Maximin played well for Newcastle in their 1-1 draw with Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the Premier League on Saturday.
The performance of the 24-year-old winger impressed some Liverpool fans, who must be disappointed that Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to win.
One Liverpool fan on Twitter has asked the Frenchman – who cost Newcastle £16.5 million in transfer fees in 2019, according to The Daily Mail – to move to Anfield in a swap deal involving Sadio Mane.
Saint-Maximin has responded, as shown below.

It is really very nice of Saint-Maximin to respond to the Liverpool fan the way he did.
It was a very respectful response which shows how humble a player the Frenchman is and how much he rates Mane.
Senegal international forward Mane is a world-class player who has won the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool.
Saint-Maximin is not at that level yet, but the winger could be in a few years’ time.
